Learn to increase profit and revenue by 'Discovering Your Innovative Advantage.'
Research has shown that traditionally, family businesses score lower on measures of innovation. This workshop is designed specifically for family business leaders to increase their ability to innovate in both processes and products. During breakfast, participants will learn about the Family Owned Business Institute and hear from Joe Schmieder of the Family Business Consulting Group who will discuss his new book,Innovation in the Family Business. Breakfast will wrap up with John Berry, a former Vice President at Herman Miller and the Director of the Design Thinking Initiative at GVSU, who will introduce the concepts of Design Thinking.
From 9:00AM - 12:00PM, Seth Starner, of NewNorth Center for Design In Business, will lead participants through an interactive workshop where they can expect to:
